"Lilith, don't go anywhere. Stay here," he ordered firmly before leaving.
"Okay, don't worry," Lilith replied, wrapping her arm around Cywen's and giving him a kiss on the cheek. His demeanor visibly softened, and he patted her head before departing.
As Cywen and Alfi disappeared from view, Lilith's green eyes sparkled with excitement.
