‘’There was no love between those two, they only got married because Kristy wanted to get a job at Sondashi Inc. You know how Sondashi Inc. is family oriented, they wanted someone married or in a stable relationship. Kristy was desperate for that job because she wanted to get back at her father for making her sister Kenzie CEO of Msizi Daily Mail.’’

‘’Wait! I think I need a drink to process all this.’’

I laugh, ‘’pour a glass for me as well because I have a lot of information to give out.’’

‘’Girl!’’ he exclaims, ‘’you need to spill all the beans, have you seen how many people are watching you?’’

I clear my throat, ‘’Daniel only accepted to marry Kristy because he wanted to use the money to pay medication for our child when she was terribly ill,’’ I pause as the tears pour down my face, I need to make sure her fans get to be on my side.

‘’But you left Daniel and your child why did you come back?’’

‘’I got sick when I had Joan, I wasn’t mentally stable, I left because I knew I would be a toxic mother, I needed to heal before I could be a mother to our baby, I was in the hospital receiving treatment for a couple of months and when I came back, Daniel was already married to Stella and my child was dead.’’

He asks me some more questions and when I am done answering, we read the comments. Most people are now on my side and that is exciting, I will do more interviews, by the time I am done with Kristy she will regret crossing paths with me.

We have just finished watching Nkoli’s video and I am not even shocked, I knew from the beginning this marriage was fake, I let her go through with it because I wanted her to fall in love with him, Stella was so bitter with life because of what her father did to me, I wanted her to give love a chance, I was so excited when I noticed that she had fallen in love with Daniel.

I trusted Daniel, he made my daughter so happy and I thought her story would be different from mine.

When Kristy sees him, she loses it completely, she rises to her feet and pounces on him.

‘’How could you?’’ She yells over and over again while hitting him and he stands still and receives all the blows.

‘’I think you should leave,’’ Robert tells Daniel.

‘’I just wanted to talk to her, I wanted to---.’’

‘’Now is not the right time please leave.’’

‘’Okay.’’

‘’I don’t want to ever see your face again, I hate you,’’ Kristy yells.

‘’I am sorry I---.’’

‘’Leave Daniel, leave my daughter alone.’’

Defeated, he turns and exits the house, when the door shuts closed, Stella starts crying again. She cries so hard until she can literally cry no more then she lies on the floor quietly until she eventually manages to doze off and because I don’t want to disturb her, I reach to the back of the couch for a fDanielce blanket with which I cover her.

‘’Is she going to be fine?’’ Jada worriedly asked.

‘’Yes, she will be fine.’’

‘’I really have to go home and see Else but I will be back.’’

‘’You go and rest child, I will keep you updated.’’

‘’Thank you,’’ she grabs her bag.

‘’It’s not your fault,’’ I say to her, I can see the guilt in her eyes. I know she knew about all this arrangement.

‘’Maybe I should have--.’’

‘’Child, don’t blame yourself.’’

‘’I just feel so bad.’’

‘’Come here,’’ I open my arms wide and she walks into them and I embrace her. ‘’Thank you for being by her side, I love and appreciate everything you do for this child of mine, aside from me you are only real thing she has, don’t give up on her.’’

‘’I love Kristy like a sister, I will never give up on her.’’

‘’Thank you.’’

‘’You are welcome.’’

‘’You better get going or you won’t leave, my hugs are addictive.’’

She laughs, ‘’I love you Ma.’’

‘’I love you too.’’

And with that she leaves.

‘’We will not respond to any media queries for now until I get a chance to speak to Stella and hear her side of the story. My husband and I are yet to visit her later this evening, so do what you can to keep the media away,’’ I say.

My husband and I have been in a private meeting at our home with our Public Relations Manager discussing Stella’s issue. Our phones have not stopped ringing for the last couple of hours because the media want to hear our side of the story but we will not give them that satisfaction.

‘’Thank you, I will do as you have said madam,’’ The PR manager says before she leaves.

‘’Did you try to call her?’’ Daddy P asks.

‘’Her mother picked up, she said Kristy is in a bad state, she hasn’t taken this whole issue lightly.’’

‘’Then we need to go and see her.’’

‘’Yes, later in the evening.’’

‘’I wonder how you could remain calm in such a situation, this could ruin our businesses you know?’’

I laugh, ‘’that girl is like our child, we will not leave her alone at a time when she needs us now more than ever.’’

‘’When all this is over, I think she needs to be whipped.’’

He is about to respond when Jada walks in and from the look on her face, I can tell she knew about this from the beginning.
