The morning sun stretched softly across the royal chambers, golden light slipping through tall emerald-tinted windows. Everything looked peaceful… too peaceful. Lena stirred in bed, stretching lazily before turning to the other side with a small smile. “Good morning, Pyra… hope you didn’t burn anything in your sleep today—” She paused. The bed was empty. Completely untouched. Lena blinked once… then twice. “Pyra?” No answer. She sat up quickly now, her heartbeat rising. “Pyra…?” Still nothing. In an instant, panic snapped through her chest.
