Isla’s POV:
Adam left 2 days ago, and since then, more and more women have arrived. There was currently about 23 women and 10 children here at Silver Ridge Pack. I was worried because physically I could heal them, but these women were emotionally broken. I had to think of a way to empower them, make them physically and emotionally strong. I wanted to speak to my mom and grandfather to get some ideas on what to do.
As I walked into the pack house, I ran into Gwen. “Hi, how are you?”
She looked down when she spoke, but she did make a little more eye contact than usual.
“I’m good thank you, Isla”
“What you up to”
“Well I was going to pick up some more shift in the pack hospital”
