Is this some sort of joke the moon goddess is playing on me?

I can remember seeing her for the first time,Samuel had mind linked me that a possible rogue was on pack lands. As I got nearer my beta had informed me she had started running.High up from the tree I saw her running, I smirked, got down, blocked her off. As she got closer, I was hit with a sweet smell ofstrawberries, like fresh fruits, pure innocence, I felt a pull towards her. Oh no, I knew this feeling.

I accessed her, from her deep blue eyes and silver hair, she was beautiful. The scar on her face made me twist my face in anger anddisgust, who would have done that to her? A Punishment?

“Mate” Raze reacted for the first time in 5 years and actually spoke without me initiating.I had to act fast before I got fooled again. I quickly signalled Samuel to cover her head so she wouldn’t know where we were going.

Reaching the pack house I wanted to storm in the holding cell and demand for answersbecause I can’t catch a break with Raze disturbing me but Rose beat me to it and ledme to the other room. I was furious, this better be some twisted joke.

What was that scar on her face? Did someone inflict it on her? Why couldn’t I feel her wolf’s presence clearly, it was faint, too faint.The door opened and Samuel walked in and had a sit.

“You need to calm down” he said calmly.

“ calm down? You expect me to be calm in this sort of situation?”

“I don’t know what to think, she might have been sent by someone” I continued angrily

“I don’t think she was and she is leaving to settle in your room.

“My room? Why? I don’t want anything to do with her”

“Really because few hours ago in the fields she would have been dead, we don’t bring rogues back to the pack house”.

I glared at him and he put his hands up in the air to surrender.

“this isn’t a joke you know what happened the last time, You know...

“We know dear cousin” rose interrupted.

“Nice of you to finally join us” “ what’s the update” I go straight to the point.

“Would you want me to show or tell you” She asked looking at us both.

I brought out my hand and so did Samuel and we saw it all. I felt weak, she went through a lot but I can’t be manipulated again.

“Really?” Rose asked

“Get out of my head” I yelled “and you of all people should understand you were deceived too”.

Before she could respond I did “Can you both please leave I need space to think please”. They both left and I was left alone.

She didn’t have It easy growing up, Rose must have dug deeper for more than 48 hours to be sure she wasn’t being caught unawares. But I can’t, I would have to stay far aware from her, she can be deceptive too. I cannot be deceived again.

Grace my supposed destined mate then had the power of manipulation. She was just like her, innocent but I lost my dad because of her, my mum had died few years earlier. It was all planned out by her and her boyfriend who for what ever reason wasn’t deemed worthy to be blessed by the moon goddess. They both planned to take the young alpha who just got his ability newly down and be in charge of the Eastern kingdom. The plan was to manipulate me into killing my dad and then, I was next.

She deceived everyone even Rose that had telekinesis, but Rose just got her powers too.

Grace was three years older and more experienced. My dad died saving me and the pack. When I couldn’t kill my dad, she had to reject me and manipulate me into feeling like I had been actually rejected, that was the day a pack of rogues attacked because dad had been grieving mum’s death since, it was him that came through for me and snapped me out of whatever trance I was in.

Grace and her boyfriend were my first kill.That was five years ago. I have grown and no longer the boy who was easily manipulated.

“Check on mate” Raze said

“Raze she is sleeping, we should get some rest, tomorrow I would get to the bottom of this”.

I didn’t sleep a wink that night, For a wolf who went awol for 5 years he sure was active last night.

“Check on mate” he growled again.

“I can’t feel her”

“ This is why I don’t trust her, since when do rogues have mates?”

“ Rose is more experienced now and the same mistake won’t happen twice”. He argued.

He got me there, Rose is skilled, she was one of the people that helped me build this kingdom.

I got to my room and I could smell her before I saw her. She looked so peaceful and comfortable, I went closer and examined her she is so beautiful. Her silver streaks reminded me of the full moon as it scattered on my bed. The scar on her face was silver too, making her more attractive She was wearing a beautiful necklace on her perfe... No! I channelled one of my powers, I had to talk to her now.

“Wake up streak”

She just moved

“Streak”

Just little movement.

“Ember” I said firmly. Her eyes were open now but she didn’t move and I don’t think she noticed me seated beside her in the dark corner.

“ Just great, am hearing his voice, maybe I am actually losing my mind”. I smiled.

“Not quiet yet”

She gasped audibly and sat up.

“Killian?”

“We need to talk streak”.
