10 I buried myself in work for the next two days. I finished the project I’d been working on and turned it into the company a week before the deadline. They were so happy with it that they gave me a bonus for completing everything they asked for ahead of schedule and on budget. As soon as that was finished, I dove into my proposal for Bex. I had ideas coming at me since we spoke, but I knew I needed to finish my other project before I could really dive into hers. By the middle of Friday morning, I was dying for a break. And it was right on time for McJenna’s pre-arranged meetup with Bianca. I was her excuse for being there, which meant I had to get moving. I was dressed but hadn’t tackled any makeup yet, or decided if I wanted to, when my phone pinged with an alert from Book Boyfriends
