I pretended to continue sleeping when Gary carried me away from the situation, feeling his irritation slowly subside from every step. He stopped to our room and placed me on my bed gently.
“You can stop pretending to be asleep now…” I opened one eye to see Gary looking at me with a knowing look.
“Hey, Am I in trouble?” I asked and he shook his head, gesturing at the chair beside him.
“I’ll stay on the bed, thanks.” Genevieve suddenly opened the door with a loud bang, her body slumping against the door and her eyes still tired and obviously hungover.
“Are you guys not going to eat?” I shook my head in reply.
“Can you just get it for me?” I suggested as I looked up at her hopefully.
