“So… How’s your first day at your new workplace and school?” Dad asked awkwardly making me feel like I had to save them and himself from further embarrassment.
I jumped making Dad jump in surprise, “Dad! How could you ask them when you never even ask about mine?” I say dramatically making mom chuckle at my antic that she instantly detected.
He sighed and turned to me forcefully, “I don’t ask you because it probably the usual.”
