Night still hadn’t fully left my skin. I moved on instinct, grabbing clothes and trying to pull them on, but my fingers wouldn’t stop shaking. The damp fabric clung to my wet skin, cold seeping straight into my bones. A low, heavy beast-breath rumbled beside my bed.
