Growing Obsession

263 Words
As Ethan watched Annie get out of the car, he couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She was even more captivating than he had imagined. He turned to Alex, his secretary, a middle-aged man with a professional expression, who had been waiting discreetly by his side. "Alex, I want you to keep a close eye on Annie," he said, his voice low and commanding. "I want to know everything about her, from her favorite color to her deepest fears. And most importantly, I want to know if she talks to any other men." Alex nodded, his expression unchanging. "Understood, sir. I'll get the team on it right away." Ethan's eyes narrowed. "Make sure they are discreet. I don't want her to know she's being watched." Alex nodded again, making a note on his pad. "I'll take care of it, sir." As the car drove away, Ethan's thoughts turned back to Annie. He couldn't believe he had found her, the woman who was meant to be his. He had been searching for her for so long, and now that he had found her, he wasn't about to let her go. He leaned back in his seat, a cold, calculating glare in his eyes. "She's mine, and mine alone," he whispered to himself. Alex looked up, his expression curious. "Sir?" Ethan's eyes snapped back to his, and he smiled, his expression warm and charming once again. "Nothing, Alex. Just get the job done." Alex nodded and went back to his notes, unaware of the dark obsession that was brewing in his boss's mind.
