A little later Nanja was standing at the helm of her brigantine. Sitaki stayed behind with everyone she didn’t need on the ship for the short trip. Throughout the day they would go on clearing the path and stabilize it.
The winds meant well with her this time and faster than expected the ocher walls of Kruschar appeared in front of her. As one of the free cities of the North, Kruschar did not need to share its wealth with others and showed it uninhibitedly: Most of the buildings had glazed windows; all the streets were paved.
