Nine dragons eventually crossed the finish line. Four belonged to Margoro and besides his pink dragon, which had won the race, the blue one would also enter the race with the horses. The third one, which would compete against the horses, belonged to a rich glassblower. Margoro seemed satisfied with the result. With only one opponent he could probably be sure of the outcome; his riders did not shy away from unfair practices. After the victory ceremony and the handover of the prizes to the dragon riders, the flying traders swarmed out. They offered grilled vegetables, stuffed pastries and soft drinks for sale. For understandable reasons, the sale of liquor was prohibited in the arena. But on the honorary grandstand the merchants lifted oak barrels with wine up the steps under great effort.
