A month had passed since the incident at the apartment, and whilst I hadn’t lied when I said that I had leads to follow on my shooting that took me to Chicago, it had turned into a dead end after about a week or so, allowing me to make it back to New York just in time to spend Christmas at my grandparents' place. However, I wasn’t ready to go back to the apartment yet and face Addison, so I pretended that some stuff had come up with at the club there, so I had to go back and deal with it.
