Max’s POV
Sitting in the car as we drove towards the Esposito compound was torture. I had to try and focus my mind on the plan, but all I could think of was getting to Addie. I had sent a little note ahead with Eddie to let her know that I was coming for her and giving her a heads up that Eddie was on our side. Well, we hoped he was. If he screwed us over, I would make it my new life’s mission to make his reign at the top pure hell. He had organised the guard schedules so that there would be a hole in the security at one end of the compound that we could access from a dirt road off the main road.
