11 Crisis THE DINNER GOT OFF TO A GRAND START. A blast on the ceremonial conch shell sounded. All turned towards the Head Steward who announced, “We are now serving the Dish of Honor, Your Excellencies, the Turtle Soup!” Crash! A chair toppled over and Mr Hamad Kamali, the stand-in for the MP Elect for Manu, rose to his feet and began waving his arms before him, gesturing denial.
