A Visit to the Dog Pound
BOB HAD RECENTLY BECOME A SINGLE PARENT to his three children. He had spirited them away from their mother on his alternate custody day. This action had not made for a pleasant meeting with his wife earlier that afternoon. Moreover, she was annoyed that he’d ignored her phone calls about the transfer of Coca Cola and the children's other belongings, phone calls he had never received.
Bob had considered that he would make the better parent. He wanted to provide his children with a childhood enriched with love and experience. However, he was finding that full-time fatherhood warred at times with his position as Commercial Officer and aide to the newly appointed Governor of Mazita, Sir Phillip Jarvis.
