Investigations continue
THEY DIDN’T HAVE TO WAIT LONG for the next meeting. Chief Inspector Barnes called late in the evening two days later to say that he now had the desired information. Unfortunately, it was now Friday — the Sabbath Day for the Muslim members of the panel. Moreover, it was Good Friday for the Christian members. Notwithstanding religious considerations, all agreed that they had to meet. The same group re-assembled in the Governor’s office to hear what the chief inspector had to say.
