THE BIRTH

Things became quiet, and we all thought that Cleo might have seen reason and would no longer pursue the matter. Soon, Tia was almost at term, and we were preparing for the arrival of our baby. However, one morning, Tia went into labor, and what was expected to be the happiest moment of our lives soon turned into the darkest moment.

I don't know how Cleo found out about Tia's labor, but as I was trying to drive her to the hospital, my car was intercepted by my own men. We were brought to the headquarters of the Council, and I tried to fight my way out. However, my own men turned against me, convinced by Cleo that I was bewitched by Tia.

Tia was taken to the labor room due to the stress she was facing, and after many hours of hard labor, she brought our wonderful daughter into the world. However, soon after, Tia passed out, and Cleo came in. I was taken away, and that was the last time I ever laid eyes on Tia.

After much torture, I was brought out of my cell room, where I was treated like a criminal. But Tia was gone without a trace. I was told that my child had died due to complications, and that my kind and your kind were never meant to meet. I was supposed to be taken to be killed, but my trusted brother in the Enforcers saved my life and nurtured me back to health.

I sought revenge, thinking that my baby and your mom had died. That's how the Resistance was formed. With some of my people, we attacked the Centre, and we almost succeeded in killing Cleo. As I pointed the gun at her face, Cleo smirked and laughed, saying, "You know Tia's husband came for her, and she left with her husband. We made a deal that supernatural and humans will work together unless we are going to kill you."

The news hit me like a ton of bricks. Cleo's words were laced with a bittersweet tone, and I felt a mix of emotions. She looked at me and said, "If you kill me, you'll never find your child." I asked, "What do you mean? Is my child alive?" She took me to the experiment room, and I was shocked to see my little baby connected to different tubes.

I felt immense anger and asked, "How could you do this to a baby?" Cleo replied, "Tia was so broken when she saw the bastard she thought was her baby. She really believed your love was never supposed to be." Before I could react, more Enforcers came in, and Cleo bought herself more time.

With much effort, I was able to take my child and escape. My men came for me, and we fought our way out. Unfortunately, I lost my trusted brother in the fight. We fled to this place to nurture ourselves, and after much effort, my baby was brought back to health. She was a special and intelligent person with powers, proving that supernatural and humans can create something beautiful.

And then, I met your sister, Tia. The little girl stepped forward, and I was shocked to see Avery.
