The Blackforest pack

POV Sophia 

As always I sit in the backcorner of the classroom. Stay as invisible as I can it is the one thing I always hear from my parents.  Olivia and my parents are the only persons who have seen my wolf Jade and know that we are a white wolf. In a few days I will become 18 years old and thus I will be able to find my mate. 

¨ Sophia do you know the answer?"  "I'm sorry sir, no I do not." "Then you better pay attention when I'm explaining! "  

It happened again daydreaming, lately it happens more and more. I just keep dreaming of my mate, will he protect me, one of the last white wolves, will he love me for who I am? Will I even find him. Olivia who is already 18 has found her mate Zack a week after her birthday. She is very happy with him and he often sits with us. Zack is one of the popular boys in school he often hangs out with Liam, Felix and Logan the future alpha, beta and gamma of the pack, aka the golden boys. 

Next week the pack will celebrate the 18th birthday of Liam,  all the unmated femaled will have to be there, not just for the party but also to see if the future luna is in this pack or if Liam will have to travel to find his mate.

It is time tonight Liam will turn 18 and everybody will have to go to the party. 

"Sophia, go shower and go get dressed, I have put your dress on your bed!" "Yes mom will do"

When I come downstairs my mother and father have tears in their eyes. "Mom, do I really have to go? Nobody even want me at the party?" "Yes you will have to go, in a week you will turn 18 and maybe your mate will find you, nevertheless evry girl in the pack is required to come."

When we arrive at the packhouse (the place where the most important parties are held) it is already very busy. Everywhere are girls and boys talking about Liam and if he will find his mate here. Especially the girls are very excited, will Liam be their mate and will she become the nect Luna of this pack? The feast goes on and everybody is dancing, eating and talking when it is suddenly silent. The doors of the packhouse go open and out comes the alpha, luna and betacouple. The alpha asks every unmated girl to come forward and stand in a row. I walk together with the rest of the girls aged between 17 and 20 to the front and stand in order of age. 

When everybody is ready the alpha mindlinks Liam to come outside. My wolf Jade becomes restless of the smell of coffee mixed with chocolate. "Mate, mate mate is near Sophia I can smell him." When Liam stands next to his parents his eyes turn black, signalling that his wolf is out. Immediatly he walks straight to me, his eyes turn ocean blue again and he looks me in the eyes. "No this can't be! I can't be mated to a wolfless runt! I Liam Black future alpha of the Blackforest pack reject you Sophia Jones as the furture Luna and mate!" He says and storms away angry. 

My eyes begin to turn glassy and I run away not turning back, I run far in the forest and when I know I am far enough I shift in my wolf and run to the waterfall where I always come to relax.

POV Liam

After the rejection I go straight to my room. How could the moon goddess pair me. the future alpha of the Blackforest pack, with such a runt! Will I get a second change mate? No I don't think so I will choose my own Luna and mate with her. 

Asher my wolf is pacing in my head. He doesn't agree with the rejection. How could you Liam! The moon goddess doesn't just pair us with anybody she must be special it is my soulmate you rejected why do you only care about yourself. He growls in my head and blocks me.

What could I have done. The pack will reject us if we had stayed with Sophia. They wouldn't have accepted her as our Luna! I shout back and go lay in my bed. 

POV Sophia

Arrived at the waterfall I immediatly go to the secret cave behind the waterfall itself here I can relax and think of what I should do next. After an hour I made up my mind, tonight when everybody is asleep I will leave the pack and I will run away. The next step of my plan is not very clear, I will stay as a rogue somewhere on neutral grounds or I will find a small pack where I can be just myself, I will figure it out later when I run away.
