I soon got a confirmation message from the airline on my phone, on booking a ticket for a flight to India. It was off tonight at 10.00 p.m, just in 7 hours from now. I decided to meet my parents-in-law before leaving, called the house driver, and asked to get the car prepared.
The kids were sitting on the dining table and having snacks when Arpan saw me descending downstairs with my luggage. He nudged his brother.
I got down with my two Travel bags as the two maids approached me to help and I told them to keep my suitcases in the car’s trunk.
“Are you going somewhere, Maa?” Arjun asked as soon as the maids walked away with my bags.
“Yes! I am going home. Back to my family.” I said as I started to walk out
