They say that in a state of shock you feel nothing but calmness and this weird feeling kind of like a voice deep inside yourself, well, it was true for me in that moment. As terrified as I was, I wasn’t able to actually feel it. I couldn’t feel my body shaking or hear the commotion going on around me. It was all just a big blur.
