There was a traffic jam on the interstate so while we waited for things to get moving I told Mercedes about my dream and what Sveta had later shared with me. Much to my surprise, she had an interesting story of her own to share with us about the universe trying to tell her something in mysterious ways.
“You’ll never guess what happened the other day!” Mercedes exclaimed as she turned off the car engine that was making weirder than usual noises.
“What?” Vera asked curiously.
“Somebody left a GPS in my car!”
“A GPS?”
“Yeah! Brand new in its box and everything! I went to the strip mall in the south end for like fifteen minutes and when I came back I found it in my car.”
