Aria’s POV The second night was already shaping up to be worse than the first. The forest loomed darker, thicker, and heavier with each step we took. Every rustle of leaves felt like a whisper in my ear, every snap of a twig like a footfall behind us. I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were being followed, and no amount of logical reassurance could quiet the nagging unease clawing at my mind. I glanced back at Damon and Drake.
