The pack was alive with energy. Even with the ever-present shadow of Juda’s inevitable attack, there was an undercurrent of hope in the air. Wolves trained harder than I’d ever seen, their determination palpable as they prepared for the fight that everyone knew was coming. Damon had taken charge of their training, his relentless drive pushing even the newest wolves to master their shifts faster and fight harder.
And me? I’d resumed my Luna duties as best I could. Even if my movements were slower and my energy waned, I refused to sit back and watch while my pack did all the work.
