Aria’s POV The morning light slipped through my curtains, and I blinked into it, still half-dazed from a restless night of tossing, turning, and thinking of Damon. My wolf, Selene, had barely let me sleep, sulking about my decision not to mark him right then and there. She wasn’t exactly subtle in her disapproval, either—growling and pacing in the back of my mind, letting me know exactly how much she thought I’d messed up.
