CHAPTER TWENTY CeCe let go of Linda’s hand when they got to his bedroom. “Come on.” He gave her a conning underlook as he opened the door. “You aren’t afraid of me, are you?” “No.” She took a deep breath, knees knocking. “It’s just late and maybe we can do this another time.” “Nonsense, you’re here now.” He widened the door to the darkened room.
