Four Days Later Shauna watched the mysterious black knight meander through Jonathan’s party. His movements were so familiar. Guests twirled underneath the subdued, gold lighting of the chandeliers wearing cryptic costumes and masks. As she held her medieval-style, dress by its sides, Rena walked up the steps and joined Shauna on the ballroom balcony. “My stomach’s hurting.” She tugged at her snug bodice. “I don’t see how women wore all this stuff back in the day.
