Chapter IX - Possibly.

Noticing that flourishing long dark hair laying down on her bed, a foolishly wide grin on her face as she turned to face the girl. Deni smiled walking further into the room, her bag pack strap hanging loosely off her shoulder. Sitting upright she crossed her legs, a wide smile full of joy on her face. “Hey Deni.” she greeted her friend. “Hey Loona.” Dropping her bag pack on the floor she walked over to her bed, taking a seat on the other side — back pressed against the wall. “So where is Skylar?” Deni questioned slipping her shoes off. “She’s not coming.” That took her attention, slipping her last sock off her foot she tossed it somewhere in the room. Her gaze on Loona she smiled, “Just you and me?” she wiggled her eyebrows playfully. Giving her an enthusiastic nod she smiled. She liked spending time with her friends but Deni in particular — it was sort of an opportunity. “Yeah, Loona and Deni—” pursing her lips a bit she studied Deni’s appearance, maybe she didn’t want to be around her. A frown appeared on her face. “If you don’t want to you can go, I don’t mind I know you came for Skylar. You like her so, yeah it’s fine.” dropping her gaze she stared at her fingers rather bummed. “I like you just as equally, and I became friends with you the same way I did with Skylar.” Deni announced placing her hand over Loona’s shoulder, gaining her attention. “So for your information, I would really really like to spend time with you — alone just the two of us.” she gave her a perky smile. Glancing at those familiar green eyes she had grown accustomed to over the two years, she smiled brightly. “I would too.” Slipping her hand away she settled down again on the bed. Her left hand poking her shoulder teasing she asked. “So how is that school thing.” School, she didn’t like the concept of being taught for a test nor the ideology of limiting what to learn. As challenging as it was, it still was too competitive and blinding. The whole aim of school was to teach people on things they could use in a real life situation — not a piece of paper for a limited time. And they always focused on passing not learning. Running her fingers through her dark hair she shrugged. “Oh you know, just a bunch of mental challenges everyday. I’m surprised I’m not insane.” “I’m not so sure about that.” Punching her lightly on her shoulder the girl gasped. “Hey come on! You’re supposed to make me feel better.” Loona whined, pouting afterwards. She looked cute, and Deni couldn’t stop her hands from pinching both her cheeks. “Okay genius!” Slapping her hands off her cheeks the girl rubbed her sore red cheeks — they were red for more than one reason. “Good. How is the training thing.” she asked both her palms on either sides of her face. “Just surprised I’m still standing.” Deni giggled. Her eyes trailed up and down her body she let out a small hum in agreement. From Deni’s defined body muscles, fitting for her age — her height, a slender frame, broad shoulders. Perfect fit shape — a beautiful girl inside out, she could get lost studying her. Shaking her head she took her gaze away from her features, her cheeks warming up. Clearing her throat she spoke, a faint smile on her face. “I’m surprised how a fifteen year old could have your body — so very fit. Wait what does Skylar say?” she rubbed her chin trying to remember her friends words. “Please don’t do it.” Deni begged placing her plans together — she couldn’t hear them again. But that was way past begging or pleading phase. Whistling Loona Deni up and down, her eyes not missing an inch she smirked. “Damn!” Giggling she fell back on the bed. “Now that’s you!” Skylar had never said that — whistling to be precise. Grinning she agreed with a head nod. “I know but damn — I’ll be fighting a sea of partners once you start dating.” it hurt her a bit, to say it and think it — the thought that it wouldn’t be her at all, it hurt the most. Immediately sitting upright Deni frowned at her. “No you won’t.” “As a friend—” Placing her index finger over her lips she shut the girl up. Not very respectfully but it worked. “No because I’ll be fighting them to get your attention.” she mumbled staring into her shocked brown eyes. Grabbing her hand she moved it away. Leaning a bit more closer then they already were her fingers interlocked with Deni’s hand, she stared into her eyes a small smirk on her. “You already have it.” she whispered — her warm breath hitting her own lips. Something about her brown eyes drowned her even more into her emotions. Her heart raced faster, she felt warmer not only in her cheeks that were tainted a fade of red. Her eyes traveled down to her pink lips, then back up to her eyes — she wanted nothing more than to kiss her, nothing more. “Can I kiss you.” she bluntly asked staring into her lovely eyes. Maybe she saw it all wrong or it was a dream, shutting her eyes for a second she opened them again — Loona did really nod approving the request. Leaning closer to her lips she let her eyes shut again before meeting hers. Soft warm lips grazed upon her own — in the gentlest touch. From a small encounter their lips both welcomed the other deeper into the abyss, full of emotions. Pulling away from her intoxicating lips, her forehead pressed against hers the two girls both smile — they wanted to do that again and again, just with eachother.
