Mandy was clearing the dishes when she heard a knock on her door.
She walked to the door and opened it, seeing two people standing outside with elegantly wrapped gifts, smiling politely.
One of them pursed his lips and asked, "Excuse me, is this the home of Mandy ?"
Mandy nodded in confusion, "Yes, what do you need?"
"I'm Albert Renley, the president of Metrobay City Bank, and this is Walter Kresh, the branch manager," Albert said with an apologetic expression. "We're here today to personally apologize to you."
Mandy furrowed her brows slightly and said, "Well... come in, then."
'Of course, I'm still upset. I've worked hard my whole life and never stolen a thing.' she thought.
But yesterday, she had been accused of stealing at the bank and even hit because of it.
