“Do you think there’s such a thing as lasting love?” Caroline asked as she moved her hand to pet her Russian Blue cat that rested in her lap.
“Are you asking me?” Lillian turned to look at the woman that seemed preoccupied with other things.
“I was just wondering… I met with Daniel the day before, he told me he’s fallen for someone, It’s still a bit hard for me to believe it to be honest.” Caroline continued as she scratched behind the cat’s ears. The cat had the same ashy gray eye color as the woman that petted it. The kitten looked up at her owner and then jumped down from her lap, walking away.
