Chapter 13

That night rest is out for no where for Autumn, she can’t sleep, she didn’t know why but she feel excited

“I feel like a teenager who’s going on a date” she said and chuckle she’s in her deep thoughts when her cellphone beep and a text messages shown on the screen, it’s already 10:30pm on her clock, feeling tired she check her phone and when she click on the message seeing Pierre name on it and she smiled 

-starting today you are not allowed to drink with me knowing it, you know it might trigger the drug reaction and I know that you are still awake so rest now, I’ll see you tomorrow but if you missed me just let me know, I could drove back there! - with a smile on her face she send response 

-Yah! As if I missed you, Mr Pierre Kwon you are so full of yourself , don’t overwork tonight. See you tomorrow, good night- 

And just like Pierre has magic, Autumn been on the dream land after that message.

7am strike and Autumn alarm rings, the morning shine greet her, smile plastered on face she wakes up and take her morning bath after 1 hour she check her closet but can’t decided what to wear, she feels that her clothes is not enough, checking her clocks it shows past 8:30 she suddenly feel the urgency on her body

She just choose her One Shoulder Gradient Knee Length Rayon Bodycon Dress, and a nude high heels 

Putting a simple make up to matches the color of her clothes and decide to let her hair down, with her White Zenvo ST1 50S car She headed towards to the Emerald building.

“Miss Park, here is your coffee” Rose held her coffee and some documents, her brow arch and she look Rose 

“Ohh that is documents sent from Mr. Kwon” Rose said and smiled to her

“Thank you, just give me 35 minutes to check emails and this document and we’re leaving” Autumn response while opening the brown envelope, she carefully ready what is stated and sign the contract, a few minutes later after checking her email she call Rose and notify that they were leaving, both woman is heading toward The Westin Chosun hotel.

“Autumn are you sure about the marriage with Mr. Kwon?”

“Well I think that it was easiest way to escape with grandma, you know merging both big companies is a good start, I think that after a year I could get my freedom” Autumn said and give Rose a bitter smile, Rose call her by the first name basis if they are outside the Emerald or they just hanging around, Rose is the only friend Autumn has and she know that Rose is worried

“Then what about the Kwon, you know that he is not easy to deal with, are you going to stay being his wife for the rest of your life while he is having a good day with a lot of his girl, Sweetie you know how playboy this young Kwon, and let’s face it, you are not some kind of girl can be played” She said and look at Autumn that makes the other chuckle 

“Could you elaborate more about it Rose?”Autumn said and smiled 

“I mean, your innocent, your sweet, your easy to fall in love, Come on! you know what I mean, I don’t want you end up crying, I don’t know what I can do to him if that’s happen” while Rose folds her hand on her chest

“You’re super negative Rose, you know me, it won’t happen”

“You are right, I know you, that is the reason why I’m worried” she smirked 

“Hey! are you are my friend or what?” Autumn said in warning tone

“Little Miss Park, what I’m saying here is so basic, you easily trust person and they take advantage by them! You are too innocent, you even trust your twin without realizing that she is a real b***h!” Rose said completely annoyed and Autumn really understand her, ever since Rose started working in Emerald she is angry with Amber because she said that her twin always took advantage of her,Autumn know that, she is aware with her twins attitude but she just disregarded it because she believed that Amber is her only family,

“Hey remember she’s my twin so bad mouthing her means you also bad mouthing me” Autumn tease so that Rose can stop worrying 

“Oh no your not! I didn’t even know why she is your twin because she’s completely opposite of your personality and attitude, come on even you both un identical, swear I could easily state and identify who is witch and not,” she said exaggerating things that make Autumn roll her eye

“Do you find her whereabouts?” Autumn ask in now serious tone

“No, and you know what? it’s kind of weird, we usually see her whenever she is missing but now, we can’t find her anywhere, I actually ask for travel report here in korea and where still looking for it, hope that they could get a lead there” 

“Hmmm... I don’t know but I feel that grandma is behind of this and I’m afraid that she did something bad with Amber” Autumn feels more worried remembering what her grandmother mentioned to her at the party 

“Well I will serve your grandmother for the rest of my life, She is your life saver without her knowing it” Rose said and give her smile

“Yah!!! Again they are still my family and there is nothing we can do about it it’s just that even I’m angry with them I can’t just cut all the connections we have” Autumn in sad tone

“Well, you were just born being unlucky” Rose tap her right hand giving Autumn warmth 

“I’m lucky because even though I have those kind of family but I have you” givingRose reassuring smile 

“Sweet talk is not working with me Autumn, I told you stop entertaining people who could just hurt you!”

“ I know, and thank you for your concern” she said, they reach their destination and Autumn was about to go out on her car

“Autumn what ever happen, I’m on your side” Rose said and go out first, Autumn smile with her friend words 

After 2 hours of meeting they found their self walking outside the hotel

“Would you like to join us later Autumn, it’s Fredrick  birthday later and others decided to go and celebrate at the karaoke bar near in Emerald?” Rose said and get the documents on Autumn hand

“Sorry I have appointments today I can’t, you can go first and greet Fredrick for me” she said and give Rose smile

“I could still go with you for lunch if you like, you need to eat” Rose said waiting for Autumn response

“Don’t worry to much Rose, I’m old enough to take care of my self okay? You are like a nagging mother now” autumn tease her 

“Okay! But call me later okay? I just need to drop something in the Emerald and emails some documents with our partner, you can still call me if you decided to join us”

“I’ll drop you there, come on” Autumn said and walks in on her car

“No, No, I’ll take a cab here, take care okay? Call me” Rose said and wave her goodbye

Autumn check her phone but no message or call, she dialed Pierre number to advise him that she’s out in the office

A few more rings and someone answered his phone 

“Miss Park, this is Lindle, Our boss is still in meeting, how can I help you today?

“Ohhh.. I see, I just want to know the address where we going to have a lunch” 

“Lunch? Oh okay Miss Park please hold on I’m going to get information for you” Lindle said in polite tone

“Okay Lindle, thanks”

After a few minutes.....

“Hi There, I’m sorry I can’t make it, I have un expected meeting today, I’ll call you later” Pierre said that makes Autumn feel gloomy, 

“I got it! Sure, bye now” she said and was about to hang up when she heard a woman voice on the other line

“Sweetheart your lunch is here come on!”

And Autumn completely heard that before she hangs up, Autumn feel angry and disappointed because Pierre didn’t bother to call her first to notify that their lunch is canceled

“What happened if I just wait for his call? I might end up with white eyes!! Sweetheart? Sweetheart! He cancel our lunch because of his girl? No maybe that is his girlfriend, I should know where is my place, our marriage is purely business” She said in herself trying to control her anger. She dialed Rose number

“Hey! Do you forgot something? Or you just a clingy friend now?” Rose said

“I guess a clingy friend, ahhh... could you count me in for later?” 

“Of course!!!! You want me to fetch you later?” Rose responded

“Nope! I’ll see you there, just text me now the address” 

“Okay! See you there honeybun”

And they ended the conversation, Autumn wait for Rose message,she jot down the address and turn off her cellphone, she need to eat first and she’s going to buy a new outfit. 

Autumn find her self inside the Lotte Department Store Main looking for her clothes she purchased a pink laced fitted dress, it has a defined neck line that shows her breast, it hugs her body perfectly that defines all her curves

After that she is silently taking her meal at the Saffron Restaurant, suddenly a woman walks pass her by and stop on her side.

“Excuse me your Amber right?” The woman said and Autumn hearing Amber name she look up and see a beautiful woman smiling at her

“Sorry?” Autumn said confused 

“Ohh.. You are Amber right? I didn’t know that I could see you here” she said with eyes gleaming 

“Oh sorry I am not Amber” she said and smiled back to the girl that makes the other stunned 

“Sorry to bother but can I sit?” The Girl said with hesitation on her tone

“Sure,” Autumn said and offer the opposite sits on her table

“I know that it’s sound absorb but I know that you are Amber, I don’t know if you remember but we’ve already meet with one of your fan meeting, Please hear me out, my boy still in pain and his doctor said that,... that... we won’t last for 2 moths, I told you that my husband is wealthy and we could pay your time, Just meet my son he is one of your avid fan and feel depressed when it’s shown on TV that you are no where to be found, my husband could also help you with the lawsuit or whatever you want, just please help us by meeting my son” the girl said with tears in her eyes 

“I’m sorry, as much as I love to help you but honestly I’m not Amber” she said politely and held the girl hand, thinking that the mother is doing everything for her son is a heartbreaking for her, if only she knows where Amber is she’s going to pursue her to meet the boy

“I see, I’m sorry then... You’re really look a like Amber. I’m sorry to bothered you” The girl said and the tears she holding drops on her cheek, she slowly wipe her tears and bid her goodbye to Autumn 

“Hold on. You said that we’re look alike, maybe I could help you, I’m not a good artist but your son might not distinguish the difference between me and Amber, what do you think?” Autumn said that surprise the girl and a sweet smile shown on her face

“That will be great, I mean I didn’t know that you are not Amber, then maybe my son won’t figure it out” she said in delight tone

“Then give me your name card, I’ll call you, maybe lets meet on Saturday morning?” Autumn said

“You are real Angel, Even though I’m stranger you want to help me.  Thank you! Thank you!, here is my husband name card, I will tell him about this, thank you! Super thanks!” She said with a smile plastered on her face

“Hey, stop being polite, by the way my name is Autumn” she said and offer her hand

“Autumn thank you! call me Aileen, I won’t disturb you now with your meal, take care and see you” the girl said and bow down to her

“See you!” She said waive goodbye to the girl, she put the calling card on her pouch and focus on her meal, she enjoyed her lunch while thinking what she can do about the boy, she didn’t feel upset now but she decided since her marriage just for business purposes she will now start to avoid Pierre as much as possible, she will make sure that she won’t bothered him anymore and besides base on the contract it’s shown that Pierre won’t intervene with her personal affairs, so she will do the same, after a few minutes she looks at her watch and see that it was almost 5 and then she decided to leave the mall and head towards the address Rose texted her, Autumn is not aware with her surroundings, she didn’t know that someone took a picture of her when she is leaving.
