After a few days, Leila packed and was moving to a new place.
She was heading to Pinewood Pack, Daniel’s pack, in a car with Kate sleeping next to her.
Suddenly, the car stopped, and Daniel entered.
The car started to move.
He glued his left part to her right part of the body, letting the tingles flood him.
- I could not wait to stay away from you. I’m so excited that you come to my pack, to your future pack.
- About that. I would like to not tell people about me being your mate. I need time to adjust to this.
Could you wait for a little?
- But I want to tell the whole world. I found my mate. And I wanna show you to everyone. To show my love and…
He leaned to her, wanting to caress her.
- Please. Could you be more discreet about that? I don’t know, love? I didn’t talk to Kate about this. It’s too soon. Let’s let love aside for a while.
She turned to Kate, avoiding him.
He stood silent for the rest of the trip.
He felt hurt, but he will accept her conditions.
He will keep distance, at least for a while.
When the car stopped, she turned to wake up Kate.
She felt two strong arms holding her, and a sniff from him, and that was all.
He opened the door, and exited, holding the door for her.
She gently waked Kate.
- Did we arrived already?
- Yes, little kitten, we have arrived.
When she emerged from the car, with a shy Kate hiding behind her, Daniel spoke:
- Hi, everybody. This is our new trainer Leila Smith and her daughter, Kate. They come to teach us to fight better. From now on, they will live with us.
Everybody said hello.
- Nice to meet everyone, I’m Leila Smith and this is my daughter Kate. As your Alpha said, I’m your new trainer. From tomorrow I’ll wait for you in the trainer room.
When they stepped out of the car, nearby, from a group of children, a boy stood up and looked at them.
Kate dragged her mother down to her.
- Mom, look, that boy is looking at us.
- I’ve seen him too, maybe because we are new.
- This is my beta, Peter. He will show your room, and you may ask him everything.
Peter looked at her and smiled.
- Hello, Luna.
A groan from his Alpha made him look surprised.
- Please, Peter. I’ve come here as a trainer. Do not tell everyone else about that, I wanna adjust to that.
- I’m sorry. I will not tell you that way. But people will notice eventually.
- Please. From now on, I’m just Leila.
With a bow, Daniel changed direction, letting them move to their room.
She felt a little sad, but it was her request, she will deal with it.
On the stairs, a blonde small woman introduced herself.
- Hi. I’m Patricia, Daniel’s sister. Nice to meet you. If you need to find the kindergarten tomorrow, I’ll help you. And to meet other people too.
- OK. Thank you. I’m Leila, and this is my kid, Kate. How about saving us two seats at dinner?
- Yes, of course. Will catch up tonight. Nice to meet you, Leila.
- Nice to meet you too, Patricia.
They followed Peter upstairs.
After two closed doors, Peter stopped.
- Here we are. We are waiting for you at dinner. Bye.
- Bye, Peter. And thank you.
- Mom, look, it’s bigger than we had before. And there are two rooms. And there are new toys. May I play with them?
- Sure. I think they are yours, as a gift.
- Mother cat, I like it here.
