Chapter 7 Later, at dinner, she found Patricia. - Hi, guys. This is my husband, Wayne, and these are my boys Chance and Angus. Chance was the boy who looked at her and Kate when they arrived. He was two years older than Kate. The other boy, Angus was one year younger than her daughter. Patricia was talking about everybody, and Leila filtered what was interested. Chance, like Kate, didn’t talk too much. His brother, though, was like his mother. He kept informed Kate about his toys and his games. Leila asked about Daniel. Patricia told her that usually, he dines in his office, between papers. Rarely comes in the dining room, with the others. She felt her heart shrink. But that was her wish. “- It’s your fault. - I know, Myra. - I want a mate. Fix this. - I can’t right now. Give me a little time. And I’ll give him a little time. Maybe he’ll change his mind about us. - I know you are hurt. So am I. But we have a second chance mate. We have to keep him. - Let’s wait a few days, will you?” Her wolf stopped talking, and let her enjoy dinner. The next day, she walked Kate to her new preschool. She met Patricia who walked Angus at kindergarten, and Chance at school. Then she walked into the training room. She met a lot of people. She let them show her a normal day of training. And then she asked to see how they fight. Then she shows them some fight moves and some new ways of defend. After the session, she thanked everybody, and head to her room for a shower. That was her routine for the next few days. She didn’t meet Daniel. She felt him around, but that’s was all. After the first day, she felt his smell in front of her room. He watched her, from the distance. The third day, she felt his scent in front of her room, then followed until on the same floor, two doors at the left. His room was on the same floor as hers. He kept her close. She felt warm and cozy at that, and sorry for what she said when they arrived. In the next days, he still didn’t meet her, but she felt his chocolate smell at her door, and in front of the training room. He followed her, but not to be seen. Two can play this game. She began walking at his door in the morning, standing for a few seconds, and then in the evening, s the same. She had to change something, but what? And how? - “Try a different approach.” She fell asleep with that in her mind.
