The next day was Sunday.
She woke up, feeling like she was watched.
She was, by two pairs of blue eyes.
Kate was observing her, trying to wake her, when Daniel tried to stop the kid.
- What’s going on with you two?
- Mom, we have a surprise for you.
- Please, L, could you come to the left side of the bed?
He asked with a husky voice.
Lifting her eyebrows in wonder, she obeyed.
Kate took a deep breath, so did Daniel.
Leila reached to the left side of the bed.
There she discovered Daniel in one knee, holding something shiny in his hands.
He cleared his throat, and looked at her, full of hope.
- Will you marry me?
Instantly, her eyes were full of tears, and began to cry.
Kate throws herself on her mom, whispering:
- Please, mom, say yes.
- Leila?
- Yes, yes
