- That s**t is not working with me.
He looked puzzled at her. Trying to understand.
- What?
- I don’t obey Alpha's voice. Not me and not Kate either. Cruz, it’s okay with that. His Luna, not so much.
- Wow. That’s amazing. I’ve never heard of such power.
-Really? Does not upset you?
-No. It makes you even more special to me. I’ll have to find another way to make you obey me. With my beauty, my muscles, my teasing.
She smiled at him, with tears still on her cheeks.
- I have one request from you.
- Anything for you, baby.
-Could you stop with the baby thing?
-Why? I have to tell you somehow.
-Baby? Where are you? You’ve promised me one dance tonight.
The annoying voice of Luna Veronica was heard close.
Leila grabbed his hand and lead him in the opposite direction of Luna’s sound.
They stopped after a few threes.
-Phew, that was close. Thank you for saving me. Now I know what you meant with “baby”.
But I have to find another sweet word for you. How about pumpkin?

- Sweetie?
- Eww.

- Plum?

- I’m out. Tell me.

- Tell me a name. You must have a pet name for me.
She began thinking.
- How about D? Just D. D from Daniel and D from darling.
His eyes lighted in pleasure.
- And you will be L, from Leila, and L from my love.
Shyly, she blushed and let her head down.
He lifts her chin with his right hand.
-I like it. I like it when you blush, especially when I make you blush. Let’s go to eat and drink more champagne.
She took his hand, and lead him to the dining room.
Not long after they took their seats and began eating Luna found them.
She found Daniel and asked him to dance.
Leila excused herself and went upstairs to her room.
After one dance he excused himself also, blaming the long trip and the long day.
Walking to his room, he hatched a plan.
After all, in love and war, anything is permitted.
