Sometime in the next day, she heard a knock on her door.
Before she could open, she felt him.
She found herself craving for him, and that was the moment to repair that.
Leila opened the door, decided to talk to him, but he didn’t even look at her.
- Hi. Can I talk to your daughter?
She froze at his question, but manage to call Kate.
He bends at Kate’s ear and whispered something.
Then Kate whispered something back.
Then was his turn.
And finally, Kate nod in response and Daniel thanked her, and left, waving at Leila.
- What was that, little kitten?
- Daniel asked me if he could take you on a date.
Leila was caught by surprise, with her mouth open.
Kate continued:
- I agreed. You have a date with him at 8 p. m., tonight.
Leila was unable to say something.
She was excited like a kid with a new toy.
She arranged with Patricia to let Kate at her, with the boys, later.
Then took a shower, and began searching for a dress.
She picked one who was hugging her waist and then was larger on her hips.
It was her favorite color, blue.
She brushed her hair, put on a puff of perfume, and there was a knock on the door.
When she opened he stood there, with his eyes widened in admiration.
- You look good, too, Daniel.
He was in black jeans and a simple blue skirt.
He was about to say something when a wimp was heard from inside.
- What’s wrong, little kitten?
- I don’t wanna go to Patricia. I wanna go on a date, with you and Daniel.
She turned to excuse herself and cancel the date when Daniel talked.
-If you wanna go on a date, you will go on a date. But not like this. I wanna see you in your most beautiful dress. I’ll go change the table, until you’ll be ready, OK, princess?
A squeak of joy was heard from Kate who run to the dresser.
- Thank you, and I’m sorry about that.
- Don’t be. I’ll go prepare the places.
Later, when he returned, he found the girl and the mother excited about what was coming.
He leads them to his room.
To be exact, his room was a three-chamber apartment, with a bath, and a kitchen.
In the living room was a table with three chairs, and three sets of plates and tableware.
Not after long, Kate was telling Daniel about her new toys, and friends, and cartoons.
She was acting with him like he was a good friend.
Of course, Kate was often at Patricia, with Chance and Angus, who were Daniel’s nephews.
She did not stop him to see her daughter, only to see her.
At the dessert, Kate began moving in slow motion and yawning after every two words.
Leila thanked Daniel and dragged Kate at the door.
- I’m sorry.
- About what?
- It was not the date you were expecting.
- No. It was better. I had two wonderful girls at dinner.
Leila smiled at him.
- You always know how to charm a girl.
- Not every girl. My L.
She felt like crying, so she just turned to leave.
Kate was already outside walking to their room.
Suddenly, two arms stopped Leila.
The tingles and sparkles were there, she could feel them through her dress.
And she felt him smelling her and kept her close.

He turned her and kissed slowly her cheek.
Slowly was moving to her lips.
He put a small kiss on the right corner of her lips, and then on the left corner.
He parted looking for acceptance in her eyes.
Her face was red and her eyes were looking down.
He put his hand on her chin lifting her face, close to him.
- I’m sorry, but I can’t stay away from you, as you asked. I’ve tried, but it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I wanna be with you, and you have to accept me and accept yourself. You are my mate and I love you, and I want you.
She lifts her head, trying to say something.
But a scream from Kate was heard instead.
- Common mom, I’m sleepy.
She smiled and turned to him.
- Thank you for dinner. Let’s talk tomorrow, OK? Good night.
And she turned, but he grabbed her hand.
He lifts her hair and kissed her neck, smelling her.
- Good night, my L. Tomorrow you’re mine.
She felt shivers on her back at his words and walked after Kate.
