“Yes Obelius is an Alpha’s son who was born with an omega wolf but the moon goddess had long blessed him with a lycan wolf. His lycan wolf had laid dormant in him unable to come out just trapped within the shackles of his mind along with his magic. With lycan wolves being very ancient and powerful they need a strong vessel and intense emotions in order for them to shift for the first time which is why Obelius couldn’t shift at first but than slowly developing a strained but weak bond with his wolf after the death of his mother. Other werewolves couldn’t detect his wolf and those who could detect it were only able to detect an atom of its power which landed him the Omega status thus gaining him the name “Omega Alpha”
