1 week until the launch and Jack didn't turn up for work.
"he's sick" molly said barging into the breakfast room as I made myself a well needed coffee.
What do you mean he's sick, that man I immune to every single f*****g thing how the hell is he sick?
Before she could say another word, her phone started to ring. She mouthed Jake to me before putting it on speaker.
"is there a reason your suddenly sick for the first time in the 3 years I've known you a week before your own launch" I said not missing a beat as I snatched her hone and walked out forgetting all about my coffee.
He even had the audacity to cough through the phone. I felt like it would contaminate me from just hearing it.
"no reason, I just am besides I've pretty much sorted everything out" I stared
