“So in essence,” Charlotte says around a spoonful of ice cream, “you guys are saying Rio is funny, considerate, a good friend and potentially romantic.”
“And handsome,” Wendy adds. “Don’t forget handsome. He’s pre-law too but I don’t think that guy is ever setting foot in law school. And he’s a Beta heir.”
I gesture toward Charlotte. “She’s an Alpha’s daughter.”
Wendy's eyes widen. “Wait, really?”
“Stepdaughter.” Charlotte corrects.
“That still counts.” Wendy responds. “You still outrank him.”
Charlotte groans. “Oh my Goddess. Enough about me and Rio.” She glances at me. “How's everything going with the trial?”
