Kirra was going to be asleep for a while. By the time Mangana left, word was out about her illness. Noah and Hazel had reached the room just after him.
Noah was fussing over what needs to be done and how Kirra’s safety needed to be managed. Hazel was staring at the bed where Kirra was. She looked at James, “Isn’t this your room? Where are you going to sleep at night?”
