James looked uneasily at the vampire sitting next to Kirra. She was still upset with James and ignored him completely. It stung but he had to get over it. “Who is this?” He asked., hoping that he would get his answer.
The vampire looked at James and smirked as if he could read James’ feelings. “I could ask the same question pertaining to you! I was pretty engrossed in an important conversation with the Alpha before you rudely interrupted. And I didn’t know that it was acceptable for a mere human to roam around half naked in front of the Alpha.”
James shrugged. He sauntered towards Kirra and sat next to her with his arm resting casually on her shoulder. “I am the Alpha’s mate. We will be getting engaged in 2 days. I am surprised you didn’t know!” He pulled Kirra closer.
