Chapter 6 Acacia knew she should feel a sense of invulnerability, being a wandering soul and thus impervious to any physical harm. Even so, unease was her closest companion as she stalked through Lord Nyx’s chambers, and having Thanatos leading her did not help matters. Traversing Nyx’s home was not as simple as searching a house or a castle—even the one time Acacia had once ventured into the Minotaur’s Labyrinth on the island of Crete had been a less confusing ordeal than this.
