"History of Vampires." Feiro laughed, shaking his head. "That's my story." he said nonchalantly.
Marionette was tongue-tied at that moment. She felt as though words she couldn't even form were caught in her throat. Waves of uncertainties surged inside her head and they were flooding her unnecessary thoughts, leading her to doubt. Feiro may not, someone she have given her trust to but slowly, she was accepting this kind of reality, a reality far apart of what she was brought upon. This reality where Feiro lives, inside her head, and gradually embedding his presence into her heart.
A trickle of sweat formed on her forehead and slid down her neck.
