Two weeks had quickly flown by and George's devastation rose stupendously each passing day. He was mentally exhausted, physically drained and emotionally battered, these fourteen days were the worst of his life and the cumbersome workload was the least to blame.
He was distraught, Layla was not answering his calls and texts, she was diligently ignoring him and on the other side, Courtney was relentlessly on his case. He hated that woman, he hated the control she had over him, he hated having to bend over backwards for her.
