He gazed at me while I did our usual ritual of rolling up his cuffs. Glancing up he offers me a smile that just seems so genuinely sweet with a hint of shyness causing a rush of warmth spreading throughout my body. I can feel him picking on my brain as he put on his coat, attempting to read my mind.
Pushing back the unwanted thoughts and memories, I purposely started thinking about what to eat for lunch to stray him off once again. His eyes constricted and nod in confirmation of my fallacious mind.
Walking over, he gave me a light kiss on the forehead "I'll be back soon okay?"
"Where are you heading?" I asked knowing exactly where he is going
He gave me a tight smile, attempting to hide his motives "I have a meeting with Nathan."
"Okay! Have fun!" I said and kiss
