A Little Before The Storm

"We should do another girls' outing soon, just the two of us". I chuckle, "I know right!" Stella really likes outings, I mean who doesn't. "But Rachel- our biology teacher- is just so annoying". "Yeah like who in the world gives so many assignments on weekends?" I say as I pack my stuff. We leave the classroom and reach park street. "So u going home now?" Stella asks. "No I've to go to the library a bit, you go home." "Come on its the weekend ,Rachel ,don't be such a bookworm now." I chuckle. "I've got to return some books and get some new ones". Stella sighs, "Fine then. See ya tomorrow and don't stay out late," "I won't, see ya!" We part ways and my stomach makes some noise. I chuckle, "Time to hit the café I guess". As soon as I enter the café the sweet smell of coffee hits my nose. I take a seat and order an iced coffee with a cheesecake. (I've got a sweet tooth so don't judge me,hehe) I finish my food and make my way towards library. I've always liked libraries- the quietness, the smell of books, the calmness -everything about them just takes me to a different world- away from all these chaos. I return the books and soon bury myself into the books. By the time I look up its already late. I pack my stuff and leave only to be greeted by a downpour. "Thankfully I brought an umbrella with me today". I mutter softly as I make my way towards home. The street is unusually quiet today as if indicating something terribly wrong.
