Chapter Five
The following day after unpacking and getting settled into my room I took a long shower. As I washed my hair, I felt a wave of relief run through me as the warm water trickled down my body. Memories from the day before flashed through my head. Being up on that mountain with Josh, out in the open, everything was so peaceful. Being surrounded by nature and feeling so comfortable around him. I had thought from the moment I met him something was different about him; he wasn’t like other men I had come across, and I couldn’t quite put my finger on exactly what it was. Knowing that we were able to communicate telepathically was frightening and exciting at the same time. I got out of the shower and rummaged through my drawer for something cute to wear to meet him for breakfast.
