Chapter Eighteen
Josh and I stayed in the store for a good hour, filling our baskets with everything I had put on my list and new goodies. We followed Barbara’s original advice, and we bought anything that called out to us. He also purchased a slab of selenite for his house. We ended up back at his apartment after cleansing our new crystals and studying the best potential ritual we could perform to break the love spell. I wore the necklace that I was now convinced did, in fact, come from my mother, which made me realize all the more why we needed to break this hex. If she was showing up now after all this time, there had to be a reason behind it.
