Chapter Twenty-Five
Chrys sat up straight in her chair and got very serious. “So,” she began, looking at Josh. “From what Morgan has told me, she can control water, and you can control fire, correct?”
He nodded. “Yeah, pretty much.”
“That’s interesting. I can control air.” A flashback of the winds blowing with the Ouija board from our childhood raced through my mind. “That is three out of five of the elements.”
“Earth and spirit,” Josh said proudly.
“Yes, those are the other two, earth and spirit. I see someone has been doing their homework,” Chrys answered. “Water and fire are complete opposites, so now I’m wondering about the issue that you two have when you.…” she formed the fingers on her left hand into an O shape while she inserted her right pointer finger back and forth in it.
