34: Deva Deva The pilot must’ve used their rescue service credentials to bring the Proteus down at the station’s pad. Nik and Casta gave Deva a supply of pain suppressants, urged her to take it easy, but didn’t stop her leaving. At least her clothes were dry. Ten minutes out from Brunter, Casta had told Deva to strip and wait in the shower, and a couple of minutes later had passed through her clothes, warm and dry.
